The final stage of the first edition of the competition held in memory of Academician Prof. Peter Kralchevsky took place on 2 February in the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy. Nine students, selected from more than 40 applicants, were invited to present their projects in front of a scientific jury from the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering. 

Ekaterina Koleva, an 11-th grade student at the National High School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences “Academician Lyubomir Chakalov”, was awarded first place for her outstanding project and presentation on “Phase transitions in chocolate: Relationship to texture and taste”.
